Since it seems that most of this Off-Topic category has wound it's way back to talking about Guild Wars subjects, I'll steer us towards the right track and offer this question:

What, in your opinion, is the best brand of ice cream/custard? Could be either from a shop (i.e. Cold Stone Creamery, Chocolate Shoppe, etc) or a store-bought brand (i.e. Kemps, Breyers).

Also, what is your favorite flavor from the brand?

My choice would probably to go with Cold Stone Creamery and their Birthday Cake Remix. It's incredibily "doughy," but it's got a nice aftertaste; give it a try sometime if you stop there, and remember to make them earn their tip

Cold Stone...Bannana Ice Cream...

It's almost as good as playing Guild Wars.

Now there's a tough question. I've very fond of both Cold Stone and Ben & Jerry's.

I'm just going to have to get a pint of each tonight to decide. Thanks a /lot/.

Sherbet isn't Ice Cream. Why do people say it is?

Cream is made from milk, there is no milk in Sherbert. So there for Sherbet cannot be Ice "Cream".

Well, I would agree that sherbert is a good flavor, since I like the nice kick that the fruity flavors add, but I guess it really isn't an ice cream according to Kiwi. But just for you THX, we'll let that one slide

Picky, picky!

However, ice cream > sherbert in my book. Always.

Sherbert is an alternative to ice cream, Kiwi .
It's either sherbert for me, Strawberry Shortcake or simply vanilla.

I'm quite fond of pumpkin ice cream. That stuff is great. It's like pumpkin pie a la mode only all wrapped together. I'm not too much of a brand person...I don't really keep track. I really like homemade stuff though. I had this homemade blackberry ice cream, it was the best especially since the wild berries had all been just picked. Mmm...*falling back into the memory*

Banana ice cream? *Looking somewhere to throw up* You may know that Sherbet (whatever flavor... I love Rainbow) may not be ice cream but where did you start eating ice cream? A fruit shop? I don't know but I think if you want a banana you should just eat the fruit. Its better for ya anyway! LOL To each his own though Kiwi... You're still great man!

My favorite (with no particular brand) is Peppermint ice cream!

Cold Stone is top of my list though! I recently tried their *Red Hot* ice cream with extra red hots mashed in... If you like a good kick (its not that bad) then that would be the way to go! That has now become my favorite! Leaves ya craving more by the time you're done... time to find me some more! Hell, might as well go and buy me a gallon so I don't run out anytime soon.

Oh, as for actual /flavors/? Cold Stone's "Cake Batter" is right up there with Ben & Jerry's "Half-Baked" and "Phish Food".

And yay for Spaceballs quotes.
